The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor by the students of and Vidyodaya Pre-University College and Sri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School at college campus. All the students and teachers gathered in the college premises at 8.20 am.
Sri. N. Nagaraja Ballal, President, College Management Committee was the Chief Guest of the programme. He hoisted the flag followed by National Anthem and Dhwaja Geethe by the students of Sri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School. Aisha Bhanu, a student of II D, Vidyodaya P.U. College spoke about the importance of Independence Day and the achievements of our Nation after Independence.
Sri N. Nagaraja Ballal briefed the students about the significance of Independence and paid homage to the brave martyrs of the country.
Sri. K. Ganesh Rao, Secretary, College Management Committee was also present during the programme. College Principal Sri Sandeep Kumar welcomed the gathering and Vice-Principal Smt. Ranjana K. proposed vote of thanks. Smt. Sowmya, Asst.Teacher, Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School, compered the programme.
Sweets were distributed to the students on this occasion.
