‘A day of honor, a day of appreciation, a day of encouragement and motivation’. It was the day of felicitations to the stars for their outstanding performance in their academic career.
It is always a great pride to acknowledge the achievements of the students in scholastic and co-scholastic spheres. Like every year, Vidyodaya Pre-University College organised a felicitation ceremony to honour students for their impeccable achievements in the II PUC Annual Examination, NEET, JEE and KCET for the academic year 2022-23.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi. Paramapoojya Swamiji was welcomed and honoured by the members of College Management committee by garlanding him and offering him fruits and bouquet as a token of respect.
The programme began with a prayer. There after His Holiness of Pejawar Mutt felicitated the students by giving away the Certificates of Appreciation and Cash Prizes.
Swamiji, in his address to the students said that the students should keep themselves focused and strive towards their goals with sheer determination and hard work. He also encouraged the students to follow their passion.
The President of College Management Committee, Sri. N. Nagaraja Ballal also encouraged the students to achieve ‘Higher, Stronger and Brighter’ goals.
The presence of the treasurer of the College Management Committee, Sri Padmaraja Acharya, The Principal Sri Sandeep Kumar and the Vice Principal Smt. Ranjana K., the faculty members, parents and students made the occasion more momentous.
The Vice Principal Smt. Ranjana K announced the names of meritorious students and wished them bright future. Smt. Vijayalaxmi H.O.D Dept. of Hindi welcomed the gathering and the function was concluded by a note of gratitude by Smt. Sowmya Kajekar, H.O.D Dept. of Mathematics. The proud parents who witnessed the ceremony were overjoyed to see their wards being felicitated.
