Vidyodaya Pre-University College organised a Career Guidance Programme for the II PUC Science stream students on 23rd September 2024, at the AC Auditorium of Vidyodaya Public School. The resource person of the programme was Dr. Raviprakash Y., Associate Director [Academics], MIT, Manipal. The session began at 9.15 am and ended at 11.15 am.
While addressing the students the resource person Dr. Raviprakash emphasised the importance of adapting positive thinking in life and also focused on the importance of the skill based education. He also highlighted about the various modern courses available in science stream and their scope and opportunities.
Further Mr. Raviprakash encouraged and motivated the students to read books and depend less on digital information and social media. He had an opinion that despite the pervasive influence of digital media, the importance of reading books cannot be overstated, as it is a lifetime leaning.
The Career Guidance programme was presided by our Principal Mr. Sandeep Kumar. Mrs. Sowmya Kajekar, HOD, Department of Mathematics compered the programme. Mrs. Jyothi K., HOD, Department of Chemistry proposed the vote of thanks.
